Hey All!
So my most recent recipe try was a win! I tried this easy turkey meatloaf recipe found here: http://www.4men1lady.com/foodie-friday-easy-turkey-meatloaf/ .
I found this recipe on pinterest and had some ground turkey on hand so decided to give it a go!
The changes I made to the recipe were as follows:
- no eggs-- because I was ditz and forgot them -- good news is the meat loaf stayed together just fine! - I also used a loaf pan instead of regular baking dish so I'm sure this helped.
- 1/2 chopped onion
- I used 2 big handfuls of spinach
- whole wheat crackers - about 6 crumbled
- different brand of onion soup- I just looked for a dry ingredient onion soup packet at the store and went with it!
*I paired my meatloaf with a rice/quinoa mix and side salad with blue cheese dressing for this yummy result!
Sidenote: My new favorite salad dressing is OPA greek yogurt salad dressing:
I've tried both feta dill and blue cheese and both are so good!
If you are a meatloaf fan - I highly recommend giving this recipe a shot!

FroYo at Home/ Greek Yogurt Milkshake
Hey!
So I just wanted to share a super simple recipe I've been experimenting with.
First time Ingredients:
Greek Yogurt (I used plain Fage Total 2%)

Honey
Ice Cubes
Milk - you can use any kind almond, soy, regular- (I used 2%)

I used a nutribullet, but any blender should work.
You combine a couple spoonfuls of greek yogurt, a squirt of honey, a handful of ice cubes, and enough milk to give the blender some leverage-- the milk should probably make up 1/4-1/3 of the total volume of all the ingredients in your blender cup. After blending, I put the blender cup in the freezer for about 30 minutes so the consistency would thicken up a bit. It was a delicious sweet treat!
Second time:
This time I was craving more of a milk shake. I used the same ingredients, but added 2 spoonfuls of peanut butter. I also added more milk- probably 1/2 the total volume of all the ingredients in your blender cup. No need to stick it in the freezer this time- since i wanted a milkshake. So good!
Third time:
Greek Yogurt
Handful of Ice
A couple Tbs. of water
---blended and frozen for 1 hour. with M&Ms on top!

I highly recommend experimenting with greek yogurt and your blender this summer for a cool refreshing treat!
